Operated from Phoenix Elementary School since 1994, the after school program runs from September through June. With full access to outdoor playgrounds and
the gym and cafeteria, the planned programs and activities are well structured
to offer a variety of social and physical recreation games. Daily homework help and weekly art projects round out the opportunities for
youth six through twelve years old looking for a safe, positive, structured place to be after school.
A team of dedicated, professional staff welcomes approximately 50 – 70 members
each and every day. Our programs and activities focus on 5 core areas including
art, education, leadership, health and life skills, and social and physical
recreation.
The Boys & Girls Club offers youth development programs. Our drop-in / open-door facility is not a day care. It is the responsibility of the parent to communicate with the member participation and attendance arrangements including transportation to the Club and how/when they are leaving the facility. Youth may come and go to and from the Club as they are instructed by their parent. The Club does not take “care and custody” of the members like a daycare. Who can join?
All boys and girls six through twelve years old can participate in the After School
Program at Phoenix. The annual membership fee of $40 plus a monthly fee of $50 per child ($75 per family)
is required.
Phoenix After School Program Hours:
Monday through Friday 2:00pm - 6:30pm.
School In-Service Days, Holidays, Christmas Break, and Spring Break Hours:
Check the Club calendar or contact the Club directly about specific open and
closed dates.
Closed Memorial Day, Thanksgiving Weekend, Christmas even and
day, and New Year's eve and day. Please check with the calendar to know exact schedules.
Membership Fee:
$40 membership fee is good from registration date through August 31st. Your child's membership allows him/her
to enroll in the after school program ($50 per month).
Program Fees:
The monthly program fee is $50 per child ($75 per family).
How to Register:
Please visit the Phoenix Branch between the hours of 2:00pm - 6:30pm to register your child or children. Complete a membership form and pay the membership fee plus any additional program fee and your child becomes a member.
