Basketball
2009 season
- Registrations will be
accepted at the Member Services Desk through November
- The Membership Services Desk at the Grants Pass branch is open Monday-Friday form 10am-6:30pm. Registration is
open through the end of December (or until teams are full, which ever comes
first). NOTE: Generally, players will be
placed on the team where they attend school. If there is more than one
team for that grade and school it will be a blind draw. We are unable to
fulfill requests to be placed on other teams.
- Cost for basketball is $40 for members participating in the after school
programs and $50 for all other members.
- Practices will begin in January
- Divisions include K/1 (coed), boys and girls divisions for grades: 2/3, 4/5, 6th, 7/8, and high school.
The Boys & Girls Clubs Basketball Program runs from early January until Mid-March. Teams generally practice
during the week and have 1 game per week.
Teams are generally formed by schools the children attend. If participants are home schooled or attend a private school they will be placed on a team that is nearest to their home address. If you are interested in coaching or volunteering any others services please contact the Boys & Girls Club.
